I wiggled the rubber covers to the door speakers and I also pulled out the radio fuse in the interior fuse box (it looked good). I’m getting sound now everywhere BUT the right side door speaker. This is so weird and frustrating!

 

You'll have to take the cover off and repair the broken wire. The right side is likely broken too.

 

You suspect they’re broken even though it worked before installing a new stereo? I appreciate all your help.

 

intermittent means sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. The copper strands get broken but the insulation holds the wire together so they're barely touching. You said it worked after you moved the wires right. I'm taking educated guesses based on what little information I have, but it's a common problem that eventually happens to a lot of vehicles.

 

The two front speaker were shot and I was able to replace them with new speakers and now everything is working. Thanks for all your help.

Can I ask what kind of stereo and speakers you got?

 

The two front speakers were pioneer ts-a1675r speakers and I also found 2 kicker csc693 rear speakers, all from a junk yard!
