I've only had this car for 6 months @143,000 miles 2000 Malibu 3.1 I'm unsure of it's history being it came from an auction. It's having a Cylinder 1 Injector misfire code. My mechanic will be doing an injector test. Being that this code seems specific, will just changing the injector help? Spark plugs are new but wires seemed new when I bought it and I didn't change them.

 

Inspect cyl 1 plug wire fore arcing to cyl head. Cylinder 1 is near firewall passenger side. Spray windex window cleaning for a spray bottle in this area while in dark lighted area. Look (May need a small mirror) at the wire boot over the plug. You'll see it acing.
