So you do not feel alone. I purchase my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ Turbo with 35,000 ish miles on it. The 2nd day I had it, had to take it in to have the cork seal around the head replaced. Two weeks later I drove it about 100 miles one way and the oil was completely gone out of the motor. check engine light came on. pull into a Napa store thinking I was down a quart of oil. Popped the hood and grabbed the oil stick and had to quickly let go. It was extremely hot. Got a rag and realized there was not a drop of oil in the car. Purchase 6 quarts of high grade oil and decided to drive back home. Engine light was off and all seemed fine. As I was pulling back into town the engine light came back on. Pulled into the car dealership that I purchase the car from and gave them the car to look at. Fortunately it was still under warranty and less than 2 weeks in my control. Two weeks later, I got me car back and all I was told was good. The next day, as I was pulling out of my garage, I notice a big oil puddle on my garage floor. Drove back to the dealership. They gave me another loaner and took my car back to work on. A month later after they rebuilt my motor and replaced something in the turbo, I got my car back. Two days later, and $895.00, I was replacing my fuel pump, and oh by the way, it is not covered in the warranty and was not related to anything they did with the motor. 1 year later, the radio system quit working. $400 dollars later, I had it fixed and re installed. Now my stabilitrak and check engine light has come on. The vehicle vibrates and has loss of power. So it is back at the dealership again on my dime for repairs. I bet JD Powers and Chevrolet would not want my opinion on their vehicles. Once I can get to a stage of trading, I will not ever go back to a Chevrolet product ever again.

Default Same issue but won’t start

My check engine light and the service stabilitrak light are both on. I was sitting at a red light and it just shut off. Won’t start back. Any ideas on what it could be/mean? 2017 Malibu base model

A mechanic told me my accelerator sensor was bad and I needed a tune up for the service stabilitrak issue but I can’t find the accelerator sensor unless he means the pedal one but the online diagnostics don’t really match with the problem I’m having
