My car will cut off completely sometimes when I come to a stop at a red light or stop sign. I’ve taken it to get a diagnostic and they found nothing wrong and they tried replacing one of the fuses and that didn’t work. It’s really annoying, but it also never does it when someone else is in the car with me. When I come to a stop it’ll pause at the auto stop then immediately go to the full stop and I will have to put the car in park, turn off the engine, and then restart the car but it has to be in park or else it’ll go back to the stop again.
PLEASE HELP! I love the car outside of this.

 

I have the same vehicle, 2015 Malibu. No issues with auto stop. I just stop and the light, feathering of the brake pedal and it keeps running. Might be a passenger issue with your Bu'. Might be a sensor under the passenger seat that allows it to keep running. I'd do a a diagnostic on the body ECM..

 

hello, I was wondering did you ever get the issue resolved or figure out what caused the issue. I’m having the same problem, I’ve called around to dealerships and they tell me they’ve never heard of this problem. It’s so annoying lol.
