Default 2015 Malibu auto stop issues

Car started to stall at red lights if I didn’t slide it into neutral or park. Then just died, local mechanic said bad battery and changed it. Problem of stalling still there. Then tranny started to slip and wouldn’t move once in drive or reverse. Had transmission changed, then took mechanic a week to recode for eco motor & is still stalling at red lights. I’m thousands into repairs! HELP PLEASE!

We've been trying to figure that out for a while. I usually put it in neutral at a long light since I don't like the transmission wasting gas on turning TC over, but I don't want auto stop. There is supposedly a new A/S cut-off intended for older motors like ours.

Looks like Chevy got the message:
