Car won’t start
I have a 06 Monte Carlo, ran and drove great a few months ago, until the starter signal wire shorted out and burnt up the starter, I put a new starter on it, and it will turn over now, but it says starting disabled service throttle, and engine power reduced. I have the starter wired directly to the battery now to bypass the shorted out signal wire and I pulled the fuse so there’s no power going to that wire, but the car still won’t start, I have tried spraying gas into the throttle body, but still nothing, not sure if anyone else has has a issue like this but I would appreciate the help, and thank you
