Default 66 Chevy II

Hey guys, just got my hands on a 66 chevy II. Trying to put in new vent window locks. I can't get the locking pin in place, it too wide. Any suggestions? drill it out a bit ?
Thanks

Get a smaller pin. Use a roll pin if you have to.

yes new resto part. No spring, it's just a little metal tube with a split down it's full length

Default cream in valave cover

Hey gang,
I have an angry lifter on the driver side of 350. Pulled valve covers. Found water/coolant cream on roof of valve cover on pass side. Otherwise, oil looks good. Had a recent overheat. I know it can be a head gasket or cracked block. My question is , why would it happen on just one side? Wouldn't cream get over to other side too? Thank You
