Accelerator pedal sensor
After,2001 suburban acceleration problem. I been chasing this problem for about a month. I do not drive this truck much unless fishing or hauling trash now an then. Truck starts fine takes of good however as soon as i get up to about 15 MPH it looses acceleration. It will not respond to the gas pedal and I have to reverse back to the yard. My little code reader said it was the pedal sensor. I removed and replaced it with one a friend let me try before I purchased a new one. The borrowed one worked fine so I gave it back to my friend and ordered a new complete assembly. Once installed it was back to doing the same thing. I tried to relearn it base on some you tube info to no avail. In the mean time my friend sold his suburban. Throttle body is clean, fuel pump is two years old air filter and all related parts. Truck idles smooth, plugs are normal. All the mech that have looked at it say it runs to smooth to be the TPS. What else can I do without continuing to replace parts?

Don't rule out the possibility that the knew sensor might be defective.
