Default i need help plz!!

hi my name is charlie and i have a 1990 c1500 with the 305 and the only way that it will start is if i hold the gas down and then wont stay going what could it be i already replaced the ignition controle moduel

Fuel pump. Check the fuel pressure while cranking.

I agree, also when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?

ya thanks for the welcome and i just got the truck its just for a prats truck but the tranny went out in our towing truck so i need this for a daily driver and i havent replaced it yet and how would i test the presure on one of these
