I have a 2000 s10 with a 4.3 and the ignition does not sping back to run from the start position? It does not start from the key either. All of the lights are on the dash even if the key is in the off position only right after i plug the battery back in then they turn off once i take the key out. Any clues???????

I JUST replaced the ignition switch
