2003 Trans in 2000 S 10

2003 Trans in 2000 S 10
I have a good auto trans from a 2003 S-104.3, and would like to install in a 2000 S-10 with a 2.2 auto. I read somewhere that the 2000 2.2 auto trans was exclusive to that year - - anyone know if I will have a problem here? Any advice would be great!!
