Hello. I’m new to this forum and need some advice. I’m looking at a 93 GMC jimmy 4x4 and wondering a few thing. The guy told me the trans was slipping so they did a filter change. After that it will hardly move unless you rev it up. I know it will probably need it replace, but does anyone have an idea of the cause of this, and that’s where my second question comes in. If I can only find a 2 wd trans is the tail shaft the same, and if I remove the rear housing will it bolt to the transfer case? Thanks again for any help with this.
