Default 96 S10 struggles after rain

I have a 96 S10 2wd 4.3. After it rains, I have a really hard time getting it started afterwards. It turns over, it just will not start. I have a pretty new battery, but that will soon start playing a part, and will eventually run the battery down.

Any suggestions? Anyone else had this problem?

thanks
JJ

Take a spray bottle just as it is getting dark outside and mist the engine, then look for a light show. I suspect that your plug wires are arching.

I geuss i would start with the basics and go from there check all your ignition components, cap, rotor, wires and plugs, try a better grade of gas maybe, run your codes if those are good get those out of the way first
