a lope to a peck means what?

for the oil pressure...is there a engine tick or knock? Is the oil level correct? Is the pressure low all the time or just at idle? How many miles on the engine?

I would check the pressure with a oil pressure gauge to confirm that the sending unit is not bad.

why was the head changed. no issues before that?

does the tick sound seem to be from the lifters and does it go away when the rpms go up?

I thought it had blowed a head gasket but it hadn't just had a place in the gasket that was leaking so I changed all of it but when I first start it in the morning it has great oil pressure with no noises but it starts making a noise after it warms up and the oil pressure goes way down

is the oil contaminated? coolant into the oil from either the leak or the repair?
did you drain the coolant before you removed the heads?

10psi is kinda low at idle.
if its not related to the repair; other possibilities are worn out oil pump or xs bearing clearances from a tired old motor. some people try running a thicker viscosity oil.

I had changed the oil put Lucas and oil race slick em in this oil change did a whole coolant flush but it never helped it

excessive bearing clearance

resistance creates pressure...to much clearance in the bearings lowers oil pressure

how many miles?
