I have a 2000 s-10 4X4 with V6 engine. The radiator tank which appears to be plastic has a crack at the top. I think I'd like to replace the radiator myself but unsure what holds it down at bottom. It appears that is I take the shroud off and undo the hoses and cooler tubes it might just lift out. I don't have a good way to get underneath. The crack in the tank is at the top, is there any way to fix or seal the crack. I can reach it by removing some of the shroud. Appreciate any help...

 

no real good way to repair a plastic radiator ,better off replacing it with a good used one or a new one they are not that bad .prob $120.00-$150.00 oreiley's sell's them
