Default Transmission issues

I have a 1991 s10 with a 2.8 5 speed manual and there is no pilot bearing but was still drivable and it looks like everything from the clutch to the throw out bearing has been replaced recently. We tried asking our local auto parts stores and they keep giving us the wrong parts I just wanna know what I need in order to get this old thing running like it should again.

Try going to www.rockauto.com. Lots of us depend on them to give us information on various Chevrolet vehicles.
