Hey just checking to see if you ever figured out your issue, I'm having the same problem on a 90 c1500 replaced every electric part new brain new timing done by shop ran for two days then I replaced the oxygen sensor and that was it wouldnt crank again just spin and spin. But I pulled both injector leads off while my dad was turning it over and slapped one lead back on and it combusted but that was it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? My girlfriend's father's 94 k1500 is doing the same thing, complete tune up, new fuel pump/filter, air filter, and fuel lines. Proper pressure at the rail, but still dies at what I've found when the temp gauge reads about 160. Vacuum hoses and brake booster seal are my next step..

'89 Chevy won't start.
Hi, I have a similar problem. I changed plugs and wires and my truck started up just fine. It sounded great. Then I changed the oil and now it won't start. Smells like something burning but not oil or electrical smell that I recognize. Oh and I changed the oil filter too. Any idea?
