Default tan wire

i was looking at my ignition coil today and there was a red wire a white wire and a single tan wire that was not plugged into anything what is this wire???

i honstely dont know but i do know i hooked my rpm gauge up to it and i have an rpm gauge... so to hook up and RPM gauge?? lol i asked the same thing so i tryed hooking that up and it worked so it could be there if you want to put in a aftermarket rpm...

You can also connect to that wire for a remote starter to confirm starting.

Judging by these responses, I'd go with a possible tach wire...? Do you have a tach mr suzuki

A friend of mine put a small tack on the steering column. Don't know how he mounted it but it looked good there. Didn't obstruct the view of the instrument cluster.

mine had little clips so i just put it in the dash in front of the stock radio... i have an aftermarket radio so i dont use it anyways... but there easy to install theres a ground a hot and thats "tan wire"
