What would you guys recomment as the best exit for the exhausts? I see a lot of people with straight out the back exit, and a few with a 45 degree bend out of the side. Is there any difference in sound or performance? And Yes Tadkins, I love my truck. I thought about the blue granite when i was getting mine, but my dad has an '06 classic blue granite and i wanted to be different, so graystone metallic it was.

Tadkins - mandrel bent pipes are the way to go for sure, good choice! And the 3" tips will make it even louder. In my experience, dumping it makes it somewhat deeper, but pipes make it louder.

Roflcopter - Depends on your personal prefrence. Do you want the look of pipes? If you do , spend the extra money and get stainless, not chrome plated, chrome plated will rust in no time, trust me! Like I said before, In my opinion, dumped gives you somewhat of a deeper tone, but you get more interior resonance. If interior resonance doesnt bother you and you want it loud and deep, dump it under your bed, you wont be dissappointed. Pipes sound good too though. Ive always dumped mine, I like the sound.

I went with the Gibson single stainless that exitsat or near the stock location. I liked it as it`s not to loud but you can no doubt tell its there and you can feel the difference in power. The single has 5 lbs more torque and 5 more hp than the duals. Also this system is designed for the AFM.I have an 18 ft car trailer with a large rock guard and the duals that exit out back whenpulling will not allow you to be able to hear your self talk as the noise reflection is terrible. Also I went with the S&B Filter myself and I like it also.

I have a 40 series on my 01'suburban with the 5.3and i love it it sounds great. As for intake I would check out Volant. A little pricey but it's a great system. My buddya has it after i suggested it to him. It's a "true" cold air. By "true i mean it's kinda in a box to protect it from engine heat but it still has a big hole in the box to let the air it. Great system.
