I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 crew cab and recently installed an aftermarket radio. I found the reverse and steering wheel control wires. My only problem is finding the VSS wire. After searching through threads on multiple websites, I cannot seem to find a straight answer for my truck specifically. I have a notion that it is the green wire with a white tracer circled in the first picture, as this seems to be a commonality with Silverados similar to mine. If someone could please confirm or deny this. Attached are pictures of some connectors and plugs I have heard discussed while looking for this wire. It is appreciated.







edit: I found the correct wire. It was behind the instrument panel
