its a automatic with 373 gears in it... I dont have a lot of $$$ right now so I'm trying to get my truck up and running as cheap and fast as I can.. Dose anyone have any suggestions on what else I can use that would be good for a 91 5.7L 350 with 373's???

we're on the same boat! i dont have that type of cash either your best bet is to buy a used 700R...im not sure exactly where u at but i kno here in maryland i can find u them by the boat load for pennies to a dollar! if u aint too far and dont mind traveling ill post up some links!

yeah thats a little far to go... and with no ride it makes it hard to travel lol... I found a 700r from a blazer I'm just not sure if it will bolt in.

the 700r4's from blazers/trucks/s10s/cars will all bolt in fine. the only one that won't is the 700r4 from a 2.8 v6. but any 700r4 from the 4.3 v6 or any v8 will bolt on.

Cool really good to know. I found one on kijji for $300cad. But I haven't heard back yet. Now I just need to find someone to help me with the tranny and rear gears. Lol. Fingers crossed.
