Also check you module under your distributor cap and make sure right plug wire is hooked up at right spark plug. Running for few seconds and dieing could be mis fire do to wron plug and wire hook up

 

removed fuel pump today, reason for no start was actually the small fuel line that goes from the pump to the fuel line had totaly turned to jelly sitting in the gas and was not even connected anymore...pump probably was good but went ahead and changed it along with new strainer just to be safe...but truck starts and runs perfect for 153,000 miles...thanks for all the help
