97 silverado 4x4 caliper fit issue
it appears that the bracket/knuckle where the caliper slides into place is calling for a beveled edged caliper, but every caliper found is flat. I'm starting to wonder if my truck has the wrong knuckle.
the way the calipers are fitting is causing the brake pad to wear/drag on the part of the rotor that protrudes to connect to the wheel. This makes a loud squealing sound often
I've just had this truck for a few months and am in the process of fixing it up.
