The armrest in the middle won't open up. If you keep pounding on the button it opens after a while. I can't figure out how to get at the mechanism to fix it. Does anyone know how to take it apart? I can't see any screws.

[hr]I know what you're talking about. I spent hours trying to fix the same problem. I GAVE UP!
Sent it to the dealer (still under warranty back then). They replaced the whole console!

 

I figured it out. I took a screwdriver on the width sides of the plastic (driver + passenger side) pried up and the plastic piece popped out. I'l have to take some pics to better describe what I'm talking about.
