Whats up guys, i recently accuired a 1999 2500. I got it for pretty cheap bc the dude though she was on her last leg. So far i have done small tune up stuff. Spark plugs, wires, oil change, Coolant flush, Fuel/air filters, and fuel pump. The CEL comes and goes as it pleases. It could be riding perfectly then when the CEL comes on i feel like the truck kind of shakes. I will be checking out the CEL code soon but i was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and how they fixed it?? Thanks for your time!!! The truck was misfireing at first and i soon found out was bc spark plug wire #1 wasnt even coonected

 

Was spark plug wire #1 not connected before or after you changed the wires. That could cause your problems with the CEL.
