Brand new high country 3500 leaking inside
Please provide some advice.
I JUST picked up a brand new 2025 Silverado 3500 High Country.
I've waited 15 years for this truck. Imagine how my heart sank when just two days after getting it home, having water pour from the windshield electronics cover just above the rearview mirror. This happened under braking so assuming water pooled at the bottom of this cover and sloshed out the vent under braking. I can't find any obvious wet areas on the liner. I'm assuming the top edge of the windshield, roof lights and antenna sail, are the only failure points, high enough to get water up there. I can't find any other immediate moisture in the liner or floor, but it has to be up there somewhere. I'm just sick knowing what water intrusion can do to your electrical connectors long after the warranty is over. This was an ordered truck and just arrived from the factory days before I picked it up. Any advice on how to handle this? Do I have any recompense ability besides a "warranty repair"? Thank you in advance. I feel like it will always be tainted even with a repair. The Dealership said I could take it in for a diagnosis, but they are 2hrs away and said it would be a simple warranty repair. Based on that, I'm taking it to a local dealership.
Purchased 01/18, delivered 01/20.

Update: I ended up bringing the truck back to the dealership because no local dealership wanted to touch it or "didn't have a water leak specialist" in their employ.
The truck has been at the dealership since 01/25/25 and I've heard nothing. I called to speak with the service manager, and they were busy. I was told he'd call me back. That didn't happen. What the heck? You drop 90K on a truck with a, from the factory issue, and now I'm nobody because they have my money already. I'm also pretty surprised that with over 500 views, no one here has a single comment or suggestion. I wrote GM on the 27th. No response as of yet. When I wrote them back in Sept with another issue BEFORE they had my money, they called me in under 24hrs. I'll post again when I have more.
