just trying to figure out if this fan : JEGS Performance Products 52140 JEGS Dual 16'' Cooling Fans for Full-Size Trucks
will fit my 02 silverado 2500hd, 6.0l

Buy some from a 05-06 silverado 1500. Much better than those aftermarket brands.

The 1500? I didnt think theyd match up to mine. Where would i look? I have looked in local junk yards and no one ever has newer chevys

As long as you have the 34" radiator, which you should with a HD, they'll fit. And junkyards, eBay, or check out car-part.com

You have a blackbear tune right? They have a harness you can buy from them and they can tune your truck for it.

I dont have the tune yet. I wanted to wait till after i did the fans. Are the fans worth it in terms of hp and mpg. I no its nothing major but would u recomend doing this mod?

I like it just for the fact that I don't sound like a jet plane takin off and it cleans up the engine bay a lil bit. But it didn't really result in any mpg or hp. Just looks and sound

I wish my truck aounded like a jet, so no real gains in mpg or hp, how will this fan affect the alternator and battery?

There's gains, but nothin you won't really notice except for on a dyno. Somewhere around 10hp/tq and maybe .2 mpg. I haven't noticed any ill effects on either one so nothin if you ask me
