thanks. i would dump it after the muffler but its not cali legal since we uphold the highest emission standards thanks to the liberals in this state.

haha yea its pretty common in cali. there isnt too much that can be done to the exhaust system in cali thats smog legal. everything i see is either straight out the back like mine, 45 degrees to the bumper corners, or 90 degrees from the muffler out the sides.

well on the silverado emblem i used a blow dryer to warm the adhesive but its ridiculously strong. after the emblem is off i used a plastic scraper looks like a putty knife and put lots and lots of goo gone on the foam. then used the corner of the scraper and just scraped away. dont be worried. the plastic isnt sharp enough to scratch the paint. its alot of time and just putting goo gone on keeping the adhesive soft and scraping. ones most or all of the adhesive foam is off i used lacquer thinner to get the adhesive off than wax and polish. on the chevrolet emblem i put goo gone over the top of the emblem and soaked it. it peeled a lot easier then the silverado emblem once the goo gone soaked for a few minutes. another thread i read on a different thread was to use 3m adhesive remover..
