Question Hard Idol on Cold Startup

Hello, new member here...

I just got my 2001 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 La few months ago.....and I'm not very mechanically inclined to troubleshoot this problem. Recently it has been having an extremely hard start up and idol on cold mornings, after the truck is started it seems to idol around 2500 rpm then jump back down to 1500 rpm... and sometimes die.

What could cause this?

Also in the video, you notice the low fuel light came on, i filled my tank two days ago... could that just be a bad sensor or something else?

Thanks

The 5.3 engine suffers from faulty intake gaskets. This is the common symptom. The gaskets have been updated by GM. The new ones will be a different color.
