Angry headlights not working...

ok, I've been searching and searching and for the life of me I cannot figure out why my headlights will not work. I need to start from scratch and trace it down. someone please give me some ideas/tech info. It does have a brand new switch so I know that is not the problem. and as always thanks in advance.

What year vehicle? More than likely you have a burned out multifunction switch. It is the turn signal switch. The headlights/Highbeams go thru this switch for the flash to pass/highbeam on. I have seen these to be a common problem. The conector get burned over time and no longer makes contact.

ok, so I got it fixed, come to find out, the wiring in my truck does not match the wiring diagrams that I have in my chiltons book, the tech books used by the service department or anything a good friend has ever seen. one wire, running behind the glove box got disconnected when i installed my dash. amazing how one wire can screw up alot of stuff. thanks for the idea though
