Smile Help! Grinding noise during acceleration at 50mph

I have a 2007 Silverado regular cab that I just bought. When I reach 50 mph I get a grinding noise. I read similar posts about this problem and people said it could be problem with the exhaust system. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

How many miles? If you have quite a bit then check your hub assemblies. This can also cause a grinding noise at certain speeds.

I have a 1997 chevy truck doing the same.
My truck grinds/vibrates at about 50, cruising if I give it a little gas in high gear right before it shifts down
If I let off it stops and If I accelerate it bogs then goes away.
If yours is doing this, I can tell you I replaced, axle bearings, all rear end bearings, both universal joints. rear drum brakes and spring set.
I'm leaning towards the limited slip assembly.
Trying to do the least expensive first.
Let me know more.

Default 97 Chevy Tahoe loud grinding noise

I have a 97 Chevy Tahoe 1500 5.7 the car was driving great went to the gas station. Turned car off put gas in turned back on started driving and then boom, out of nowhere the grinding and banging started. I pulled over looked underneath just to see if there was anything visible but nothing. So now when the car in in park there’s no noise at all it starts once it’s put into drive at 2H without any acceleration. I made it home by putting it into 4WD and it made grinding noise still but very less now I’m stuck trying to figure out what it is befor I dump hundreds into parts I don’t need !!!! Please somebody help
