2007 Suburban LTZ 5.3L, 4L60e. Just hit 202,650 Miles.

I broke the forward sprag in the trans at 202,495 miles. I believe that was due to a bad pressure switch manifold which was causing harsh shifting issue. I pulled it all apart and rebuilt it. I was surprised to find that the friction materials were all within spec still. Only the 2-4 band would have needed replacement if it wasn't for the broken sprag and bad pressure manifold switch.

The engine runs like new.

I only run Mobil 1 and change it about every 6-8K miles.

2010 Z71 LTZ extended cab. 170,000 miles. No problems.
Over the last 128 fillups, it's averaged 18.1 mpg with the 3.42 gears

9/3/15 update. Now at 177,000

Default 300+

I got a 1992 c1500 daily driver with 326+. Still has plenty of power and runs like a top. Never had a rebuild and all original.

I am proud to claim bragging rights for over 329,000 miles on the original engine and still going strong! She's a Missouri van with stamina!

Own a 1999 Silverado single cab short bed with the 5.3L. In the year that I have owned it I've driven 10K miles, truck now has 86K miles. I know, low total miles on the truck but it is so cool to have a 17 year old truck that runs so well. For precautionary measures I completed the following work at 80K miles. Switched the truck from conventional to 0W30 Mobil 1 oil (all ticking during warmup is gone)! Replaced the water pump, replaced the replaced the engine belt, replaced the AC belt, replaced the transmission filter and pan gasket and fresh Valvoline synthetic ATF, replaced the fuel filter, replaced the rear axles/axle gaskets/pumpkin gasket and fresh Mobil 1 gear fluid, replaced the rear and front rotors along with brake pads, replaced the e-brake pads, replaced the Sparks Plugs and Plug wires, cleaned out the throttle body, added a new air raid engine filter and installed a remote engine start so I can warm the truck up before I get into it in the AM before work. Next I will pull the valve covers off and install new Fel-Pro gaskets, however this won't occur until I start seeing oil leaks.
