just turned 250k on mine.
not the original engine though.
the first one took a dump at around 215k.
picked up a brand new longblock from chevrolet and had my mechanic put it in.
it runs like a champ.
ive had this truck for 13 years, and i intend to keep it forever.

Default 2001 Chevy Tahoe

Chevy girl here! I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 4wd with 238044 miles and it has been the best car I've ever had I was skeptical at first because of the mileage but so glad I didn't let it stop me from getting my truck. It's so reliable and the small repairs I had to fix were so cheap. 200 bucks to replace the radiator cause the old one had a pinhole leak in it. Didn't break my bank. Right now it's running perfect no issues and drives smooth. Love it so much.

Default Original

2004 1500 Silverado 5.3L. 351,138 miles. All original major components. The biggest repair was a new drive shaft. (Dented on a boulder). I forgot to mention I work construction hunt and fish so she sees more dirt then pavement, has been severely overloaded and tows my boat and work trailer about 4 times a week. The body is getting beat up but she's a truck it's what she was built for. Suck it Ford and Dodge.

Hey y'all, I'm a new member from Mrmphis, TN. I stumbled across this forum when I was searching for records of high mileage Chevy gas burners. I've got a 2001 LWB Chevy 1500 with the 5.3 in it. Right now, it's got 469,183 miles on it, and it still runs flawlessly. Besides regular maintenance that I do myself, the engine has had no major mechanical work. I am on my 2nd rebuilt tranny, though. It's my work truck, and I drive the hell out of it at least 6 days a week. Besides a cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust, and a Hypertech program in it, it's all stock.

Here's some proof. I change the oil every 4,500-5,000 miles, and use Mobil 5000 10W-40 and a quart of Lucas

I thought my 310,000 was high but I am glad to see someone is in the 400,000. I have at least 200,000 more miles to go. Replacing the fuel pump this week fuel gauge don’t work. Looked at a 2013 model but I don’t like the problems they are having with the AFM and lifters.
