I have a 2003 Silverado and want to add an accessory plug to the overhead console. Can I plug a connector in the left ip fuse block labeled "BODY - 12 WAY - BRN" for my power? What exactly is that spot meant for?

 

I just put interior LED Lights in my truck and i picked up this thing that plugs in to a fuse spot then two fuses plus in to that and it has a accessory wire coming out and I put it ion the ignition one and works great.

 

send me a pic or link to get one. sounds like something i need.

 

Here is a Pic dunno exact name. I just went in and explained it to them and they showed me where it was. It was right next to the fuses.....lol if you couldnt og guessed that. thay had them at autozone btw

No problem.... I just took a test light and put the keys in and tested them to see which ones would light up. IGN ended up being a good on because there was nothing on one side of it so it wasnt blocking any of the other fuses.

 

Thanks, I'll look into that. I never would have thought something like that existed. I have a slot labeled "aux pwr 2" and my owners manual says its not used. Just hope it's not on the battery run-down protection circuit since I want to use this power to charge a cell phone.

Just found it on Amazon.com It's called "add-a-circuit/add on circuit". Now can someone tell me which fuse goes to the original accessory plugs? I'll just use that circuit.
