It's time I started thinking about a new ride, and am considering either a 2010 or 2011 Silverado. 2WD, Regular cab, short box, posi-rear, 5.3L (definitely w/o Active Fuel Management) which I have on my 09 GMC Sierra (my working truck). It's been a long time since I bought a new Chevy, and am finding that most options come in package deals. I'm resigned to the fact that unless I'm lucky it'll have to be a special order. Is there any way that specific options can be bought a-la-carte from Chevy like they can be from the Mopar folks ? Dealers just want to move stock off their lot and most are either unwilling or to do special ordering, and when they do the push the packages. Any suggestions ?
