Okay, so funny story, so I went to sell my truck to a buddy so I can go ahead and purchase my new one, well he turned off the key pretty hard to the ACC position, and it locked up, wouldnt move at all, so we tore up the cylinder and I cant turn it to the crank positio . To remove the cylinder, then he messed with it and broke the connector for the pass lock system, so they are going to get a new collumn from a junkyard tomorrow that has everything with it, would this work? Like a new collumn from a different truck, would it be compatible, if we got a new cylinder with the collumn and programmed the key?

 

what year is the truck? there is passlock 1 &2 and passkey

99 old body style or 99 new body style...99 is a cross over year...if it looks like a 98 its old bodystyle. if it looks like a 2000 its a new body style.
