i have a 2002 2500HD with the 8.1 engine. the axles and steering parts are tight. without checking the ball joints i am assuming that is what is popping. it only does it when i am turning. my biggest question is what brand of ball joints do you recomend. i am so tired of JUNK china crap so i was wondering if there is a ball joint that you recomend. if not i will just go with the GM ball joints. thanks, eric
