Default Remote not working after lightning storm?

I have a 96 Dually Crew Cab with a 454. This summer I had a trickle charge battery charger plugged in to the truck during a thunder storm. Lightning blow out my electric fences, cable modem, and blow the trickle charger into little pieces under the hood. The truck has a Silencer alarm system, remote starter, and factory remote locks. The truck starts and runs good but the alarm system, remote start, factory remote locks, and dome lights don't work. The power locks and dome lights work by the interior buttons but not when you open the doors or try the factory remote or the Silencer remote. Can anyone tell me what and where the problem is?

Thanks, Mike

There is a pink wire that goes from your Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) to a fuse which is in series to your Ignition switch. Check that fuse to make sure its not blown; it should be a 10amp fuse.

Hi 48fan,

Where would I find the remote control door lock reciever? I will start under the dash near the ignition.

Thanks

I'm not sure where the RCDLR is but the fuse you need to check should be in a fuse block located under the instrument panel on the left side of your steering column. Look for a fuze labled 'ECM-IGN' or 'IGN' (it is a 10 Amp fuze).
