Default 2005 suburban rear ac blower not working.

Hello, hope I am posting in the right area, my 05 suburban rear air blower stopped working. I checked both fuse boxes, disconnected the batter for a while, that didn't work. I can hear a "click" when I turn the overhead blower *****. Sounds like a switch in the rear compartment. I have not pulled off the panels yet. I am hoping its a bad switch or something?
Update: I pulled the blower out, chanced the resister. I have power to the blower plug, but when I plug it in, volts drop to zero. I have checked grounds, fuses. No clue why a load kills the power?
