Default speedometer stuck

my speedometer gets stuck but usually goes back to zero this time it is stuck on70mph and my cruise doesn't work, any suggestions!!!

send it to me i can rebuild it! the dealer will want 300-600 to replace/exchange. i do it for 125.00! gmgaugerepair.com

its not your guage. cruise would still work
its more then likey the sensor. vss? its called i believe

9 times out of 10 its the cluster.dont waste your money on parts you don't need. out of all the silverado owners i talk to on a weekly basis,alot of times they say they are gonna replace the sensor first and then end up calling me back to have their cluster rebuilt.call the dealer,give them your VIN number and see if it is on the recall,or extended coverage list.

clue word is that "cruise control doesnt work". cluster being bad wont effect that. the sensor will

sounds like someone is just trying to get some business, it could be a number of things but defidently isnt the cluster
