Default TCC stuck on code

How many different things can cause the fault code "TCC stuck on"? 4L60E transmission on a 94 C1500. Thanks!

Clear the codes and drive it just to make sure it wasn't a one-time occurance.

If the code comes back, I'd be for replacing the solenoid; especially so if it is a high mileage tranny.

I've replaced the TCC solenoid, among others. When I put it in gear, it shuts down.

Not yet. I'm sure that will be my next step.

Okay. The truck has been untouched for a couple weeks. Now, it did not shift into reverse when I started it and it lopes in drive, no longer cutting off. Another code that it threw was for the mass air flow sensor. Any ideas?

Now, the 33 and TCC stuck codes are gone and these have surfaced:
59 - TSS temp low
66 - A/C pressure
67 - A/C pressure
73 - Pressure control solenoid return amperage high
81 - 2-3 shift solenoid voltage high for more than 1 second
82 - 1-2 shift solenoid voltage high for more than 1 second.

Any thoughts? THANKS!

I would start by checking the wiring harness.

Okay. I'm back to square one. It was low on fluid and wouldn't go into gear in order for the TCC to shut it down. It did roll enough for me to turn the truck around so rain water would drain out of the bed, but since I added fluid, she shifts into drive fine and shuts down. Unplug the harness and she does the same thing. I'm still thinking torque converter, but that's a lot of work for a possible no-fix.
