Default Trans Question

94 Z71 shortbed, 4wd, 350 etc...Long story short, I broke my ECM prom, got a whole used ECM with a prom, and was supposidly out of a truck with a tbi 350. Truck runs good, but my trans seems to act funny, not sure if its on its way out or what, but it seems that i almost have to left off the gas for it to upshift sometimes, and it also intermittanly loses overdrive and sometimes all forward gears, the trans doesnt slip, its all there when its there. I havent dropped the pan yet but hopefully it will help. I have also heard rumors about shift solenoids. Im leaning towards the different prom causing my problem, but have also had doing a pan drop(filter and fluid change) do wonders for me in the past, or maybe the trans is on its way out. Any ideas? Suggestions? Answers? would be helpful

Yeah...i droppped the pan today and changed the filter, fluid looked like....well you know. Seemed to have helped so far, i guess i'll just have to drive it for a few days and see what it does.

well the trans still is actin up, the fluid looks decent, doesnt smell burnt, just shifts erratically, doesnt shift at WOT, and intermittantly doest shift into 3rd and 4th gear. While its going throught the gears the shifts seem delayed, it just seems it takes forever for it to shift, i dont believe the trans is smoked, i believe it to be a solenoid problem, or i have even seen a tps sensor do something very similar to this. Anyone who has any input on this, it will be greatly appreciated, I'm tryin to figure out whether i should milk this trans for a while or pull the trans on the weekend or whether its a simpler fix

I've noticed most of the time it ends up being the servos...
