I have a 98 k 1500 cheyenne 4x4 pickup. My problem after driving for about 25 or sometimes more the tranny shifts hard going into 2 gear which is automatic. It seems that only when she is hot. After I shut it off and drive agin she is okay. Now the fluid has air bubbles in it and hard to see where it is not foamy thanks for your help

 

Oil level to high OR too low, wrong filter, cracked filter neck, or bad/missing filter seal.

Thanks for your help. Went to my mechanic and he said the pan was leaking causing the the fluid to be low and the air bubbles. So he changed the filter and new gasket andded fluid so far she running good but did not go real far like 30 miles to see if it acts up

 

Glad ya got 'er handled. They'll drive ya crazy sometimes.
