I bought my '04 in February and the steering wheel makes a 'squeal' - which sounds as though it is coming from the steering wheel itself or perhaps the column. Oddly, it only does it on days when it is cold. ???? Since the weather has gotten warmer, it doesn't seem to do it anymore.

Now that I have my Flowmasters, I doubt I could hear it anyway.

 

Last month the dealer greased the steering. I think the said right where it goes into the firewall. It's still doing it but not as often. Is it a coincidence or are they close to the actual cause where they greased it?

Any clues what this might be?
