I've done a search on this issue, and found only one refference to
the same problem I'm having at...

That's a pretty old thread, and I wonder if anyone has come up with
a less costly answer ? But, to restate the referred peoblem...

Seat controls work in reverse,
Seat moves forward instead of back when pogram takes over,
Repeaded attempts to program new position fail,

Any help will be appreciated,

Sounds like a PROM issue in the control module to me. I am sure Chevrolet knows about it.
