Default 04 Sub one wiper not working

I got my windshield replaced and the next time I used my wipers one slowed down and then stopped working. The other one still works. I assume the installed jacked something up.

Any suggestions on where to start and is there one motor for both front wipers?

Welcome to the forum.

Check to make sure the arm that isn't working is still tight on the shaft. They may have removed them to install the W/S.

There's one motor.

Thanks for the suggestion and it is still tight. I dont think he removed them to replace the windshield. When it went it just got slower and slower then stopped. The wiper arm can now be pushed down and touch the edge of the hood. Something broke.

So you can't move the wiper by hand?

No, I can move the broken wiper by hand. I can move it up and down the w/s.

Maybe the drag link is disconnected. When you move the wiper, does it feel like the shaft is connected to anything?

check the bolt that holds it down on the shaft. same thing happened to my expedition. it was the nut not bolt, i mean. remove or open the plastic cover. there is only one motor, which means they should both be moving
