this fourth of july weekend I had to pull my buddies boat trailer and on th way home I noticed my fuel gauge was pegged all the way past the "full" marker. This went on for two days then it slowly started to move back to normal, but then it marked all the way empty. Just to make sure I had fuel, I topped off the tank but it still marked empty. Now the needle moves to either, empty half or full everytime I restart it. I mentioned the trailer cause he has been having problems with his trailer light and I wonder if something got shorted. I just checked my fuses and they appear to be fine. Everything else seems normal. Any clues???
