Default Keys

First click is ACC, second is run, next is start....

I could never get more than an hour in ACC w/my factory sat nav... after that, damn thing would never start.

Got an Optima Yellow Top... LOVE IT. 2-3 hours on ACC w/radio blasting. starts right up.

So, back to the original post;

DID YOU PUT A BATTERY IN IT YET?!

Radio cd skips/ejects or clock resets to 12:00.

Mine is a 2003 Suburban and this applies to 2004 vehicles as well, I am surprised it is still occurring on 2007 models.

Surely there is a fix by now?

My current battery is only about 2 yrs old, it has been checked and is good. I have checked for corrosion and loose wires, even the grounds (one possible cause mentioned on some other forums).

Here are my WAGs.

Seems to me this might be a computer or radio problem. My first thought was some corrosion and cables after the battery checked out, but alas, if that is it, then I have not found the proper cable/connection.

I have noticed that from those that have mentioned it, they had the Bose 6CD units as do I.

It also seems odd that it would run from the 2003 model to the 2007, just like the gauge stepmotor problems.

Just to help everyone that doesn't believe me Put this into your search engine. "Suburban clock resets"
most TSB's will look something like this #08-03-10-004
I serached my service DVD and found no reference to clock reset or that number...

KOEO = key on, engine off which is basically the "Run" position so everything but the engine is active.

If your in RUN w/the engine OFF, the battery will be dead in MINUTES.

In this position the HVAC is active, the heated / cooled seats, the head lights, etc!

I use the first click or the equivalent of the accessories mode, and I found that after about 20min with the radio on if you have the rear seat entertainment with the AC controls and the radio controls in the console that it gets hot! about 114degrees the front radio face gets in the 90's.... from what I can gather from turning the radio on with a charger on the battery the radio with rear seat ent. uses about 2-4amps....

Additionally, I tried something last night and it seemed to work.
