Hi Guys,

New Member 2008 Tahoe LS - have all the parts to follow Seneca's instructions.

Can anybody tell me the correct way to remove the headlight switch?

Does the switch come out from the front or from under the dash?

Help!

Tks,

Bob

No need to go under the dash. Gently pull thefront of switch. I made the same mod to my '08 following Seneca's instructions. Works like a champ.

I wish I saw this thread earlier...

I have the fog lights on my LTZ and they are absolutely crappy. It is quite misleading to call them fog lights, as they do not provide any help in fog or snow. I would definitely not mount them on a car that does not have the option.

I am in the process of replacing them alltogether with PIAA 510s, which are also 4" in diameter. It will take some engineering to get them in properly, but I will take the bumper off and get it done properly.

I also purchased a pair of eBay lights that look at least more powerful than what comes OEM. They claim to be a simple drop replacement, which is not the case as they need some modifications to fit in properly.

Replacing the bulb with a more powerful one id not an option, as anybody I know who did this found the housing melted quick quickly.

I am a bit confused...maybe someone can clarify? I have an 07 avalanche LS that I want to add fog lights. Are you guys saying that if I want to wire the fog lights in to the factory switch, that I would need to buy a new factory switch that has the fog light option? I don't want to put in a after-market rocker switch. I want it to look like OE. Would these work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-Ch...Q5fAccessories
