'07 LTZ 4x4 Front Tire Wear
8,500 miles and I'm noticing some feathering/excess wearof the outside shoulder on the front tires.
Time for a rotation, but I think there may be something amiss with the alignment to be causing this (excessive toe &/or positive camber).
Both fronts are showing this, slightly more on the RF.
Rears are showing perfectly even wear.
Anyone else noticed this?
Truck was built in Arlington.

I would rotate them every 5-7k miles. Sorry I cant tell you about the wear. I have put on after market wheels and dont have that many miles. I plan to rotate my 24's with every 3k oil change!
Mine are doingthe same thing at only 4K miles. Already rotated once when I had rebalance and had the hidden stick-on weights put on. Going to try to get dealer to align. Probably a lost cause tho.[

Running 35psi. My wear is what I've heard called "feathering" which is toe-in related. It's where you rub the tread backwards and can feel edges catching your fingers.

Warranty will cover alignment and tire balance (even on installed factory take-off's) for the first 7,500 miles.
Some tire feathering will occur on the front tires after several thousand miles even if the alignment is to spec, this is normal, when you notice the wear it just means that you waited a little too long to rotate your tires.

Had the same front tire feathering on our 2WD LTZ - noticed it at 3200 miles. The dealer checked alignment & found toe and camber was off. Realigned & rotated under warranty - no problem.
